We care about the environment

We actively pursue environmental improvement at both of our hotels. We have eliminated disposable packaging, we use only environmentally approved detergents, sort waste at the source and more. Our work is to have as little negative environmental impact as possible, and our staff recieves yearly training in environmental issues.

One of the most recent improvements are that we have installed motion sensors to control lighting in many common areas, and built a new waste-sorting building for even more careful sorting.

The Green Key certificate

Since May 2006 both hotels are certified according to The Green Key certificate. This is an international environmental certificate specially developed for hotels.Please visit www.hsr.se for more information about The Green Key.
